The Hunts are registered at Babies R Us and Target. Everyone is welcome
to celebrate this joyful occasion with us!
REACH—Some
of our church will participate in the REACH prayer emphasis at Thompson-Boling
Arena this evening. The emphasis is primarily for teens, but anyone
may participate. Steve McCullough will lead a prayer emphasis in our
Sanctuary at 6:00 PM tonight for those who would like to gather here
to pray.
WILLING
HANDS QUILTING CIRCLE meets tomorrow, April 21, at 10:00
AM in Duplex B (the building next door to the church office). Everyone
is invited; new quilters are always welcome.
TUESDAY
MORNING MEN’S PRAYER TIME—All men are invited to share in a
weekly time of prayer. We meet every Tuesday at 6:00 AM in classroom
304.
BLOUNT MEMORIAL
HOSPICE is seeking volunteers. Training sessions are offered on
Wednesdays, April 23 and 30, from 9:30 AM until 12 noon, at the Blount
Memorial Hospice Office. If you are interested, please contact Sarah

“GOING
DEEPER,” a Bible study taught by Brother Kenny, continues this
Wednesday at 6:15 PM.
PRAYER GROUPS—A
prayer group for women only is held each Wednesday at 7:00 PM in classroom
251 (annex classroom). The church-wide prayer meeting is held at 7:00
PM in classroom 301. Please join us for prayer this week.
Discovering
Church Membership—has been postponed until Monday, May 12,
at 6:30 PM, due to the Franklin Graham Festival.
ANGEL FOOD
DISTRIBUTION DAY is this coming Saturday, April 26, from
8:00–11:00 AM in the gym. Adult volunteers, as well as our Youth volunteers,
are needed. We look forward to serving our community this Saturday and
hope you will come to help and share in this blessing. If you haven’t
tried Angel Food yet, order a box next month. You’ll enjoy the food,
the price and the convenience!
NO EVENING
SERVICE will be held next Sunday, April 27, on our church
campus. The Franklin Graham Festival will be held at 4:00
PM at Thompson Boling Arena.

AN ALL-GIRLS
GET-AWAY
is planned
for Saturday, May 3, beginning at 8:30 AM. We will enjoy a day
of shopping, lunch together and a fun scavenger hunt in Gatlinburg and
Pigeon Forge. This awesome day is for all ladies age 18 and above; the
registration is $5. Contact Beth Armstrong or Sharon Livingston for
details. Bring money for your shopping needs and lunch.
TO THOSE
GOING ON THE PARIS MISSION TRIP—Royce will be in Paris next Saturday
for the informational meeting. He will turn in motel requirements, camper
hookups, etc. If you have any questions that Royce will need to address
at the meeting, get those to him ASAP. If you are a very late sign-up,
get your name to Royce. There will be a meeting on Sunday, May 4,
in the Sanctuary after the 10:30 service.
THE BUSINESS
MEETING is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, at
6:00 PM in the Sanctuary followed immediately by outreach.
HELP WANTED!
We need some volunteers to weed the flower beds around the church, and
to help plant flowers during the different seasons throughout the year.

The Women
on Mission group is asking the church to donate items during the
month of April for JIM’S MINISTRY. Items can be placed in the
designated boxes in both of the main entrances to the Family Life Center
(upper and lower levels). The items Jim specifically listed are:
Mission
For Military—Care boxes are mailed monthly to our service
people serving in the Middle East. If you would like to make a monetary
donation, please write “Mission for Military” on a payment envelope
or your check memo line and drop it in the offering. Remember those
brave men and women serving in the military and keep them in your prayers.

Bible Drill—Congratulations to our Bible Drill Team: Sydni
Coppinger, Tyrus Garrett, Nicholas Hagey and Miranda Werley. All
four did not miss any calls at the Associational
Drill. The are all Associational Winners and moved on to the State Drill
set, which was held yesterday. Results will be in next week’s bulletin.
